The CRG long string header CLE model was created to replace chemical weeding and eliminate weeds by mowing the sub-row of vineyards and orchards. It is distinguished from other systems on the market for the rapid wire change system called Fast-change.
The rotor is made up of a series of D.4 mm nylon threads anchored in a simple but effective way, thus ensuring various cutting configurations according to needs, and quick replacement in case of wear of the threads. The strings, usually pre-cut to a length of 140cm with simple scissors, are installed by inserting them in the appropriate perforated housing (see video below). The rotor has a hydraulic inclination as standard, allowing it to retract vertically at 90° and, with a special optional, can also be used for mowing ramps. The length of the mowing part is 80 cm and can house up to 18 strings (36 single).
